Maggie Cox (They/Them) is a Queer New York based Performer. They are a recent graduate of the Department of Drama's New Studio on Broadway at NYU Tisch School of the Arts. While attending Tisch Maggie was awarded TOP HONORS/OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT IN STUDIO by the faculty and staff of New Studio on Broadway.

 

Maggie made their Off- Broadway Debut as Alison Bechdel In "Fun Home" with Next Gen. Theatrics just one month post graduation. While at school, they got to work closely with esteemed collaborators such as Kent Gash, Tiffany Rachelle Stewart, Dell Howlett, Byron Easley, Baayork Lee and Nathan Brewer, who cast Maggie in their first industry presentation composed by Andrew Lippa titled "Love Somebody Now." They also originated the role of Elizabeth Wollstonecraft in the NYC Musical premiere of "Hyena In Petticoats." Freshly graduated Maggie, has not slowed down! Performing in their first regional show this summer/fall "Bright Star" as Alice Murphy, Maggie was nominated for a Regional Theatre Award for this performance. 

 

In their free-time you can catch Maggie performing Pop/Rock/Folk/Jazz at venues like 54 Below and The Greenroom 42, Watching Abbott Elementary on HBO Max, and Cooking homemade recipes!

 

Maggie truly welcomes the creative and collaborative energies as they come, and hopes to keep collaborating and making the world a better place through their art!
